Kylan and Naia seem to have a relationship in the novels, they could be Jen's parents. Jen is brave yet wary like Naia and, like Kylan, picks up a love for reading and writing. In the dark crystal, he reads writing on a wall which could've been the same wall UrVa wrote on which Kylan was memorized by. The novels are really cool when it comes to connecting theories

Kylan is my favorite character from the books of Lee. Especially in the second book, Kylan is the main protagonist and he is just SUPER BADASS. Now that I know him better, I will rewatch the Age of Resistance. <3 I also think he's Jen's father because in the books we know that: 1) He created the same firca Jen's playing in the movie 2) He's favorite Gelfling hero is named "Jarra-Jen" 3) His father was not a spriton but a stonewood, that could explain Jen's hair 4) He will live in the Mystics Valley (where Jen will be too).
